On today’s episode of Getting Social with Miriam, I had interviewed an exciting guest. ?Before I go into the details, I want to mention a few things. As I have discussed many times in the past through my past podcasts as well as content I had written up, if any business owner does not utilize social media properly, they are leaving a lot of money on the table to the point that they will not survive. Many business owners still rely on traditional methods of marketing such as radio, print and even television. Now those methods still and always will have a place but all it does, is get the awareness out that a new business or service now exists. What consumers are paying attention to is what is being said about the business or service through social networks, and they also expect that these businesses have social media pages and profiles, and expect to see interaction through those profiles with fans and followers. Relationships between fans and business owners is what consumers want to see especially now, and social media makes that possible where as the old ways of marketing does not. I am delighted to be interviewing a highly influential digital marketer, author and business coach Susan Gilbert out of Issaquah WA.
Susan uses her laser focus knowledge to coach and provide online marketing and social sharing programs for authors, speaker, experts and small businesses. ?An entrepreneur since 1987, Susan has evolved years of traditional business experience into several cutting edge projects which includes her digital marketing company, Online Promotion Success. ?Author and publisher of several books including ?The Land of I Can,? and ?KLOUT SCORE: Social Media Influence, How to Gain Exposure and Increase Your Klout,? Susan combines online marketing with strategic thinking to create successful programs. ?Working most often with authors and entrepreneurs, she understands promotion at a personal level as a regularly quoted resource in USA Today, Entrepreneur, Inc. Magazine and many more.
