On today’s episode of Getting Social with Miriam, Tiffany C. Wright was interviewed about funding your business. She?s helped numerous small and medium businesses find funding for a variety of purposes from many sources, but today Tiffany C. Wright spoke about how you, too, can generate the business financing you need to grow and achieve your business goals.
She?s the author of a new book called The Funding Is Out There! Access the Cash You Need to Impact Your Business. Whether you?ve got a $300,000 transportation business, a $20 million business services company, or are an aspiring entrepreneur considering your options ? Tiffany C. Wright has the information and strategies for getting your business needs financed.
We spoke about a variety of funding methods for businesses such as the old fashioned way of borrowing from the bank. However we delved into newer methods such as crowd funding and strategic and angel investing. This is definitely one area that I am not at all familiar with. Tiffany even spoke about funding through joint ventures, partnerships, and even bartering for services. I asked Tiffany about bartering networks and the best way to find them is to Google “bartering networks” in your area, and plenty should come up for your specific location. This podcast was filled with great insight on funding your business!

Hi Miriam,
Thank you so much for the interview with Tiffany. It is amazing how many sources are out there that we don’t know about.
Thanks for sharing.
So glad you found it helpful Monna.
One method of funding small businesses I like is Kiva, where you make micro-loans (starting at say $25 upwards) to small businesses having difficulty raising funds.
I’ve made several of these loans and never been let down yet. It’s a simple thing to do, and gives me a nice warm feeling 🙂

Kiva! Forgot about that platform and thank you for sharing!
