On the last episode ofGetting Social with Miriam, my guest and I had discussed a common issue that entrepreneurs face, and we spoke about a great solution. The truth is that most entrepreneurs and many employees are bombarded with stress and constantly face challenges in regards to time and stress management. Therefore, they become very frustrated, less productive and many time experience burn out. My guest out of central Queensland, Australia Gaye O’Bien and I discussed this issue.

It is a fact that if you are running a business, and want to be successful with it- you have to have the right mindset. If you don’t and dwell on negative aspects of life, you will not be in a good state of mind which will not only be detrimental to your business but to your overall health. Gaye explained how NLP is used, and how it really is beneficial. In order to learn more about NLP, tune into the podcast and connect with Gaye below.

Any way you can learn to change the negative thinking the better. I know I am always more productive when my thinking is positive.
Very true Lawrence, thanks for sharing.
Hi Miriam
NLP… I had a friend before who was a practitioner of this..It fascinates me. I actually think it is possible to program yourself into success. We already know everything we need to know deep inside our mind but sometimes we just need to pull it forward..right to the front of our brain so we can become what we want to begin. Using NLP or similar techniques i am sure we can become better people and actually change our lives and the lives of those around us.. The question is… Is the world ready for this?
William
I believe it too William. I think many people who stay in a negative state are too comfortable there and that is why not all of us can tap into it.
Hi Miriam,
NLP is a wonderful, complex method in not only understanding human behavior, but a way to change your beliefs, which are usually erroneous.. things we come to believe over time … excellent… thank you for the share …
It is a wonderful method indeed, thanks for the comment Lesly.
Love the topic of NLP, both powerful and dangerous. Definitely bookmarketing this for later. Thanks Gaye!
Gaye did a fantastic job explaining NLP! Thanks for the comment.
It’s very easy, Miriam, to get caught up in the mechanics of your business, and abandoning your attitude and mindset.
So often, small tweaks to your underlying belief system and self talk, have a far greater impact on your bottom line than applying yet another tactic, or implementing one more strategy.
Thanks for bring Gaye aboard, she was an interesting guest.
