On Tuesday’s episode of Getting Social with Miriam, I had the pleasure of interviewing Kersten Kloss. Kersten is a sales strategist, list Builder and lead generation expert with over 20 years of experience helping small and medium sized businesses. Over his career Kersten has collected an arsenal of very unique proprietary strategies that blend classic TV interviews with online tools like YouTube, LinkedIn and banner re-targeting, to find his clients new business.
Kersten developed “Skype Interview Marketing”, a technique that affordably positions individuals and companies as industry leaders and subject matter experts. His web TV interview shows, conducted over a simple Skype call, look like real TV and are promoted to high profile news sites like USA Today, CNN, Entrepreneur, Examiner.com as well as Forbes, Huffington Post and Inc. Kersten has interviewed dozens high profile authors and business leaders over the past several years. Brian Tracy, Steve Schiffman, Guy Kawasaki and Brett Wilson were all guests on his own web TV show at BizDevWeekly.com.
Almost everything Kersten does involves LinkedIn in some way, and in this podcast we to covered some tips on how to master LinkedIn. We talked about tips on how to maximize your profile to make it enticing for others to connect with you. We also discussed how to find the right types of connections, as well as how to utilize groups. It was an information packed podcast! You can listen to it below.

Hi Miriam
LikedIn sure can be a great resource.. but you need to be very careful with it.. It is a social engine I need to get to grips with.. I am currently working on Instagram and twitter..I will find the time to look at LinkedIn…
William
Very true William, you must be careful with LinkedIn, like you do with all platforms, thanks for commenting.
LinkedIn has been such a helpful tool in attracting professionals who want to go into an online endeavor. It gets spammy at time like most social networks but I certainly get the most out of LinkedIn and Facebook. I bet the interview with Kersten was awesome!
Thanks for commenting NT, and LinkedIn can definitely get spammy. It is all about how to connect with members there and if you do it correctly it can be a great thing.
