I know I haven’t blogged for a while and I do apologize for that. However, I was away last week in Vegas, and it was fantastic. I have also had an opportunity to clear my mind and do some thinking. I am actually going to be changing my blog around a lot. I am no longer going to be blogging about business and social media. I am no longer hosting the podcast because I don’t feel it is relevant for where I am in my life at the moment. However, I will keep an archived section in my blog about it.
Things in my life are changing. I am working at a job that I really love that I cannot disclose much about at this point. I also feel it was meant to come into my life because there are aspects about illnesses like depression that are associated with this job. If you have noticed, some of my recent blog posts were relevant to depression.
Well, this is where I am going with this blog. I suffer from depression and I am tired of keeping quiet about it. I have actually been sharing relevant content on social media about depression. However, I will be blogging regularly about depression. That being said, a new banner, name and layout will be created. This site is going under some major transitions. I will also be providing awareness and value from my future work.
It sounds like you are pursuing your passion, and that means you are following a path to true success! I applaud and support your decision and wish you all the best Miriam!
It sounds as if you’ve found your passion for a blogging topic and that’s wonderful, Miriam Finding a job that you love, even better.
Virtually everyone suffers from depression at some points in their lives and for others it’s an ongoing battle. It’s still something that’s often kept quiet and it shouldn’t be. By discussing it openly, people who suffer from it won’t feel so alone.
I wish you all the best for your new job and look forward to reading your blog in the future.
Good luck Miriam and congratulations!
Congratulations on your new job and new direction.
Depression is a serious mental disease and like most mental diseases it is “not discussed”. But there are breakthroughs happening with it all the time.
QSciences has a nutritional line that has been used for treating people with depression for over 20 years and has been highly studied even with Bi-polar Depression, the worst type of depression.
The best thing you can do is own it, for then there is hope.People and the world around them try to deny it and it only gets worse.
The more people “know” it is a disease and you are treating it and it is treatable the more hope there is for this to be main-streamed.But it takes great courage to step into the light and allow it s to shine on you.
Prayers and Blessings for your breakthrough!
Hi Miriam,
I was wondering where you were! A new job that you like…fantastic and I wish you well.
Seems to me that you found your niche with blogging. Talking about depression is wonderful because we all have been there in one way or another.
It is something we don’t like to talk about, but when we do, what we find is more comfort and less isolation.
Wishing you all the best!

Hi Miriam, I’m very excited for you. It’s always good to find your calling. I know how important this is because I too have suffered from Depression in the past and it can really beat you down unless you get some perspective and hope. I’m glad you’re moving forward with something that will be beneficial to all. Good luck with your journey and job well done. I will be checking in.
Hi Miriam,
How wonderful to have found a real passion to blog about, and such an important topic. It is marvelous that all the skill and experience you have accumulated learning about blogging will now be put to such a useful purpose.
We all look forward to reading more and supporting your mission.

Miriam, I had not seen you for a while. Congrats to you and your new direction.
Now I know why. A new job that you say you love is wonderful. ” Aspects about illnesses like depression that are associated with this job. If you have noticed, some of my recent blog posts were relevant to depression”.
Mary is right “The more people ?know? it is a disease and you are treating it and it is treatable the more hope there is for this to be main-streamed.But it takes great courage to step into the light and allow it s to shine on you.” I know this I suffered from depression many years ago. I saw a quote that I think says it all.
Sadness is a black brick wall between two gardens.
Best of luck Miriam with your new direction.
